Amsterdam-based Joelle Charan releases her latest song ‘You Don’t Love Me No More’ in April 2026: “ You Don't Love Me No More is a raw, soul-baring realisation of a relationship's end. The lyrics focus on the icy shift in my partner's behaviour — noticing the coldness where affection used to be, and the attention I once cherished has completely vanished. It is a song of loss, where I confront the reality that the love I once shared with him is gone. This song was made famous by Candi Staton. ”
Joelle has built a solid track record of sold-out performances in the UK and the Netherlands over the past few years. Further highlights include singing in the Royal Concertgebouw Amsterdam for Festival Uitmarkt, Royal Theatre Carré as a soloist for Duizend Stemmen in Carré and Paradiso Amsterdam for the Korendagen with a black gospel choir.
Joelle's upcoming album was remixed and mastered by John Reynolds, known for his work with the likes of U2, Brian Eno, Damien Rice, and Sinéad O'Connor. She has enjoyed international press and radio support with interviews, studio performances and airplay.
Upon graduating with a degree in jazz vocals (main subject), jazz piano and pop songwriting (side subjects) from the Conservatory of Amsterdam, Joelle studied at The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York City. Her current vocal coach is Margot Giselle of the Frank Sanders Academy for Musical and Music Theatre.
